Last week we finally killed Galakras! We were missing our main tanks and actually had to PUG a DPS as well. It was the first time we had raided in about a month due to attendance issues.
This was our 20th attempt when we finally defeated Galakras. I’m surprised it took so long, but I’m glad to see him die. Off to Iron Juggernaut this week I hope!

Congrats! Galakras is definitely one of the harder bosses in early SoO. It took our raid a comparable number of attempts, especially with people getting knocked off towers, bad timing on pulling the boss down, Fractures, and then getting a handle on the burn phase at the end.
That and the fact that banners and totems are the greatest threat to Azeroth since Deathwing himself.
Iron Juggernaut will feel like a nice change of pace after Galakras, but Godspeed on the Dark Shaman.
